Installation Instructions for Fiat Ducato Including Wiring Diagrams

This is from the included instructions, readme file from the ducato manual   ( only applicable for net downloads )

1.    Find and double click the file gdistart.exe

2.    This will create a GDIO.htm file on your Desktop

3.    Double click GDIO.htm (ensure Internet Explorer is your internet browser. If it is something else, right click the file and Open with Internet Explorer)

4.    Click Yes to the warning message

5.    Click No (if your default browser is set to something other then Internet Explorer

6.    Select variant and language then click Go.

NOTE:

The wiring diagrams of this software do not currently work with Internet Explorer 7. If Internet Explorer 7 is your default browser follow the following instructions:

1.    Go to the “Standalone_IE” on the CD or your virtual drive which you have mounted.

2.    Double click the file multiple-ie-setup.exe

3.    Click Next

4.    Click “I accept the agreement” and click Next

5.    Click Next

6.    Ensure ONLY “Install Internet Explorer 6.0” is checked and click Next

7.    Click Next

8.    Click Next

9.    Click Install

10. Once installed, click Finish

11. Double click the “Internet Explorer 6.0” icon on your desktop.

12. Go to Tools => Internet Options

13. Click the “Advanced” tab

14. Scroll down to the Java (Sun) section and ensure the following are checked:

a.    Use JRE 1.5.0_05 for <applet>

b.    Java console enabled

c.    JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled

15. Click Apply and then OK

16. Close the browser and double click the “Internet Explorer 6.0” icon on your desktop again

17. In the address bar type in “X:\ GDIO.HTM” without the quotes, where X:\ is either your CD drive letter or the drive letter you have mounted your virtual drive too.

18. You should now be able to view all wiring diagrams.

If you have trouble with viewing pictures or wiring diagrams please install the I.E standalone Internet Explorer 6 and/or jarva 1.5.0.5 Below.
